There are two ways to make verticle spacing. The first will give you a single line break.

You would use the line break in instances like the following:

Front Desk Assistant
Assist shelter staff with greeting and directing visitors, answering the telephone, photocopying and faxing, and maintaining general files. Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

To add a single line break in Dreamweaver, press the for each line break. If you press 1,000,000 line breaks, you will end up moving down the page 1,000,000 lines.

The second of these is the paragraph break.

You would use the paragraph spacing in the following instance:

Front Desk Assistant
Assist shelter staff with greeting and directing visitors, answering the telephone, photocopying and faxing, and maintaining general files. Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Medical Clinic Receptionist
General administrative tasks such as typing, filing, answering phone, scheduling appointments, and assisting clients are involved with this position. Flexible schedule, Monday-Friday.

To add a paragraph break in Dreamweaver, press the once. If you press 1,000,000 paragraph breaks, you will end up moving down the page 2 lines. Repeating this option will not give you the desired results. Use the single line break option if you need to move down more than two lines.
